Biography

Dr. Grievous is a dark ambient/power electronics project activated by artist/musician and Kill The Spirit co-founder Dave Couillou. After premiering the eerie-narrative "Mirror I" and the electronic-rebirth "Egress" on Vol.3 of the Sun Serpent Split Series in March 2017, an eponymous full-length soon followed in early April. On his debut, Dr. Grievous deftly incorporates light and dark into the thick, deep sound mirages of "Drowning" and "Heavenless" while expanding hallucinatory industrial soundscapes into the harsh power textures of "Walls" and "Living Guts".
